Hello. My name is Cynthia Koerner. I have a passion for birth and believe in the innate birthing wisdom of women`s bodies. I am dedicated to the preservation of natural childbirth. I am a home birth/home schooler of three wonderful children. I have been a certified birth doula through DONA since 2002, I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor, and I teach a prenatal and postpartum exercise dance class called "Dancing For Birth" www.dancingforbirth.com. I have assisted mothers with birth at home, birthing centers, and in the hospital. When working with my moms, I place a big emphasis on optimal fetal positioning, achieved through posture and exercise. I will help you research and explore your options for birth, so you can have the kind of experience you want. My hope is to help expectant couples understand the process of birth and eliminate the fear that society has instilled in women concerning labor.
